Refund policy

We want you to love The Traveler. If something isn't right, this policy explains how returns and refunds work for orders placed at thetraveler.shop. Orders are sold by New Generation Hairstylists LLC ("The Traveler"). Checkout, payments, and refunds are handled securely through Shopify. To start a return, email support@thetraveler.shop with your order number.
14-day return window
You may return your order within 14 days of delivery for a refund. To be eligible, the dryer must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in its original packaging with the concentrator nozzle, storage pouch, and any included materials. Returns requested after 14 days, or for items that show signs of use, may not be accepted or may qualify only for a partial refund.
How to start a return
Email support@thetraveler.shop with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll reply with return instructions and the address to ship to. Please wait for our instructions before sending anything back.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we issue your refund to the original payment method used at checkout through Shopify. Refunds are typically processed within a few business days of our receiving the return; your bank or card issuer may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to post the credit. If the original payment method is no longer available, we'll work with you on an alternative permitted by Shopify, such as store credit.
Return shipping costs
If you changed your mind, you are responsible for return shipping, and any original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend a tracked, insured service. If your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we cover return shipping and refund you in full, including any original shipping.
No restocking fee
We don't charge a restocking fee on eligible returns made within the 14-day window.
Damaged or defective on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact support@thetraveler.shop within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a few photos. We'll make it right at no cost to you, with a replacement or a full refund, and we cover return shipping. Issues that appear later may be covered under our one-year limited warranty.
Non-returnable situations
- Items returned more than 14 days after delivery.
- Items that are used, damaged by the customer, or missing parts, accessories, or original packaging.
- Gift cards and any items identified as final sale at the time of purchase.
- Items purchased from a third-party seller rather than thetraveler.shop.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item, for example if it arrived damaged, is to request a replacement when you contact us, subject to availability.

Shipping Policy — The Traveler

This Shipping Policy explains how we ship orders placed at thetraveler.shop. Orders are sold by New Generation Hairstylists LLC ("The Traveler"), with checkout handled securely through Shopify.
Where we ship and cost
We offer free standard shipping on every order within the United States, with no minimum. At launch we ship to U.S. customers only and do not offer international shipping.
Processing and delivery
Orders are processed on business days. Available shipping methods, carrier options, and estimated delivery times are shown at Shopify checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation email, which includes tracking once your order ships. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. We're not responsible for carrier delays, but we're always happy to help you track down a package.
Lost or damaged in transit
Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers your order to the address you provided. Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout, as we can't reroute a package once it's on its way. If your tracking shows delivered but you can't find your package, or if it arrives damaged, contact support@thetraveler.shop and we'll help resolve it, including filing a carrier claim where appropriate.

New Generation Hairstylists LLC ("The Traveler") operates this online store at thetraveler.shop. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you shop with us.
Information we collect
When you place an order, we collect information needed to fulfill it, including your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone (if provided), and payment details. Payment processing is handled by Shopify and its payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our website.
When you contact us at support@thetraveler.shop, we receive the information you send in your message.
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand site usage and measure campaigns. These tools may collect device and usage information. Our host may also process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation.
How we use information

Sharing

Terms of Service — The Traveler

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thetraveler.shop (the "Site") and your purchase of products from New Generation Hairstylists LLC, doing business as The Traveler ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase our products.
Eligibility
The Site and our launch offer are intended for customers in the United States only. You represent that you are at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and legally able to enter into these Terms.
The product
The Traveler is a professional folding hair dryer (Model 8300) with a BLDC motor and dual-voltage support for 120–240V, 50/60Hz. Product images, specifications, and marketing copy are for general information. Minor variations in appearance, packaging, or materials may occur without notice.
Product use and safety
The Traveler is an electrical appliance; improper use can cause injury, fire, or property damage. Read and follow all product instructions and safety labels. Unplug the unit after each use and before cleaning, keep it away from water, clean the rear filter regularly, do not use voltage converters or transformers, and do not modify the product or use incompatible accessories.
Orders, pricing, and checkout
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory limits); if we cancel a paid order, we refund the amount charged. Prices, taxes, shipping charges, and promotions are shown at checkout and may change before you complete your purchase. Checkout is hosted by Shopify, and payment processing, fraud screening, and order confirmation are handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store full payment card numbers on the Site.
Shipping and delivery
At launch we offer free standard shipping within the United States and ship to U.S. customers only. Shipping options and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Returns and refunds
Eligible orders may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Full return eligibility, conditions, and shipping terms are stated in our Return & Refund Policy and are incorporated by reference. Refunds, if applicable, are issued to the original payment method through Shopify unless we agree otherwise or law requires a different method.
Warranty and support
The Traveler is backed by a one-year limited warranty. Coverage, exclusions, and the claim process are described in our Limited Warranty. For warranty or product support, email support@thetraveler.shop with your order number and a description of the issue.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.
Intellectual property
The Site, product designs, trademarks, logos, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes related to learning about or purchasing our products. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
Disclaimers
The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Except as expressly stated on the Site, in these Terms, or in a written warranty, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they apply only to the extent permitted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site, products, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the prior twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some limitations may not apply where prohibited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or products, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site and revise the effective date. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where law requires additional notice or consent.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal U.S. law applies. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact support@thetraveler.shop and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the dispute informally. Except where prohibited by law, any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Consumers may have rights under applicable law that cannot be waived.

5. Limited Warranty

Limited Warranty — The Traveler
Effective: May 29, 2026
New Generation Hairstylists LLC ("The Traveler") provides this limited warranty for The Traveler professional folding hair dryer (Model 8300) purchased new from thetraveler.shop. This is a Limited Warranty. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
What is covered
We warrant that The Traveler will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal personal use for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser who bought the product new from thetraveler.shop and is not transferable. Proof of purchase, such as your order number, is required.
Our remedy
If a covered defect appears during the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair the dryer or replace it with the same or a comparable model if the original is unavailable. This is your exclusive remedy under this warranty. We cover shipping for valid warranty claims, both to send the unit to us if needed and to return the repaired or replacement unit to you. A repaired or replacement unit is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
What is not covered
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from anything other than a defect in materials or workmanship, including:
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic wear, scratches, fading, or discoloration.
- Misuse, abuse, accident, dropping, mishandling, or failure to follow the included instructions.
- Damage from improper voltage, power surges, or use with an incompatible adapter or converter.
- Water damage or use in any manner the product is not intended for.
- Damage from unauthorized repair, service, or modification, or from opening the housing.
- Products with an altered, defaced, or removed serial number.
- Commercial use or use beyond normal personal use.
- Accessories and consumable or wearable parts, except where defective on arrival.
- Products purchased from a third-party or unauthorized seller rather than thetraveler.shop.
How to make a claim
Email support@thetraveler.shop with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a short video if possible. If we determine the claim is covered, we'll provide instructions for repair or replacement, including a return authorization and shipping details. Please wait for our instructions before sending anything back.
Implied warranties
To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one-year term of this written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this product, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
